Yes, that is a good point. And quite true.

As a counterpoint, I would state that it is a very small inconvenience and
there are many other things worth worrying about. The issue of corner painting
has a solution and is not a big deal. The quality of the end result is what
counts and how you get there is what it is. No more, no less. Not a mountain,
but a mole hill.

I would much prefer to worry about how to prevent derailments and have a truly
derailment-free model railroading experience. And also to have couplers that
NEVER refuse to couple up when bumped. I guess we each have our personal
interest areas.

Some folks paint details with felt-tipped markers. How does that grab you?
After spending big bucks for a Russian red sable bristle brush, they us a
cheapo marker to get it "just right".

Ar-r-r-g-g-h-h-h-h.........

And then there are folks who use the tip of a toothpick to get paint into the
corners. How cheap can you get? Imagine their angst at having to use a
toothpick after spending the big bucks to buy a felt-tipped marker. Must drive
them nutz..... Maddening for sure!

So far, to the best of my knowledge, nobody has yet complained about being
forced to use a cheaper tool to accomplish what a toothpick cannot. But that
message will probably surface within 12 hours.

Cheers...Ed L.
