I respectfully disagree. Assuming we're talking about acrylics, the last thing you want to do is speed up the drying, since drying is not what acrylics do. They need to polymerize - the molecules need to lock into a network. In my opinion - you'd do better asking how to slow the drying if you want a more durable finish that won't lift with the tape. I'd go with the Gunsmoke suggestion, or maybe watch the entire first season of Xena. Patience, grasshopper. (12 hours seems enough in my experience)
