Although the admission would probably get me barred from the Steam Era Freight 
Car list, I work on the good-enough principle (within reason):e.g., I ordered 
one of Don's Marhoefer refrigerator cars from his current sale, even though I 
believe all of the prototypes were steel cars.As I've noted (and others 
confirmed) my experience with MTH in O scale, especially their Premier line, 
has been that the cars usually are very good:I bought about five of their GS 
gondolas a year or two ago, which are excellent, easily convert to two-rail 
with their conversion trucks, Kadee mountingsare cast in--much cheaper than 
most of the brass imports and generally as good or better details.  Same with 
their PRR R50 express refrigerator cars.Although there won't be much more I 
need in S scale, I am hopeful of the MTH products there.
