The A-M car is a shortened (72') version of an RPO- baggage car that was
probably full-length on the prototype. There is too much to change for a good
rep. DJE

American Models makes what looks like an ATSF "shorty" RPO. What ATSF had in
great numbers were baggage cars in stainless steel of about the same length
used for mail storage.

I hope Ron Bashita could be prevailed upon to do the baggage cars , which
would work with scale.

These are cars that ATSF and RI acquired to replace aging hwt's. Athearn
made them in HO and N, now they can be had in S the same as any other cars from
USP and through The Supply Car system. Save me two numbers in the 510-516
range. Supposedly SF sold some to NH for use in mail and package service on
some of their trains.
