John,

Well, for years I've been giving my father an add-a-car Pacemaker unit train
(like a girl's add-a-pearl necklace) but couldn't find any of these cars,
either from American Models or any of the dealers I know, this time around.

In addition to not being able to find another pacemaker boxcar, I was beginning
to question how "thoughtful" it was to get my father the same present every
gift-giving holiday (Christmas, Father's Day, and his Birthday), for years on
endÂ… (Although, on Christmas and his Birthday, I usually got him something
else too.)
