One detail that has bugged me over the years is how to put more realistic appearing sideframes on my Locomotive Workshop engines. I bought a set of BTS sidefrsmes a few years ago, but have not had the patience to assemble them. I may have to cobble the Beveridge drives to make the work, anyway.
Another idea I have is to cobble some sideframes using the LW sideframes and parts from old Enhorning trucks to add the "outrigger" brake shoes. If these weren't such good running/pulling engines, I probably would have "deadlined" them years ago, but since they were among my first efforts to build a credible S scale locomotive roster, I keep them around for nostalgia's sake. Anybody have any suggestions/ideas? boB Nicholson ___________________________________________________ --- In [email protected], "Bill Lane" <bill@...> wrote: > > Besides my goof there was another reason why I posted it.
