FYI--Don't bother trying to cut crosswise slots in 1/2-inch Homex to make them '"flexible". We tried it yesterday, and ended up cutting the 3-1/2" wide 5' lengths, to 6-inch pieces, we'll trim the ends to go on the 48" curves, and use the drywall mud where needed. The slotting probably is ok for 1/4" or thinner, but not the half-inch. Am using DAP caulk to glue the roadbed to the splines, they are 99% installed, the board is 3 tracks wide for the yard, can't waste any time getting it down where longer pieces are going in.
