Hello Don,
I'm trying to retrofit a Rail-Lynx DCC encoder into an SHS SW1 but can't fit
the chip inside the hood due to the electronics board mounted inside. The fit
of the shell onto the chassis is too tight with the new chip in place. Since I
don't need to plug this upper electronics board into the lower chassis, is it
possible to remove the upper board without disturbing the connection to the
front (or rear) headlight? How would I remove it if it is possible to do so?
