Ed has brought up something that really didn't have to happen--a lost
deposit. I told John Botton that I would send a credit card deposit
when he had a pilot model. If he was financing the model, the credit
card deposits should be good enough to proceed.
I lost a few hundred with a custom brass builder many years ago and in
helping get a brochure produced in our hobby. I think we've finally
settled the latter, but I've also learned a lesson or two. Running a
micro-business like mine makes you really tough or out of business very
quickly!
Although most of my 'brass days' are behind me, anybody who can't take a
credit card deposit probably won't see a sale to me.

While I feel bad about the unpaid BTS invoice, I feel REALLY bad for
the folks who sent in deposits for the 0-6-0. Not sure how they fared,
but it must have been aggravating. I sure like the RRM 0-6-0. Much
better than vaporware. Ed L.
