I'm sure you're aware the Kadee #5 uses a totally different method than the 802 
for centering.

Somebody needs to sweet talk Ron Sebastion into selling separately the 
centering springs he's using on his SSA Flyer Compatible couplers. I 
transplanted the ones when I converted the EJ&E S-Fest boxcars to scale.  
They're larger and stiffer than what the 802 uses, work just as well and no 
bouncy-bouncy.

Also, doubling up on the Kadee 802's centering spring seems to reduce the slack 
somewhat.
