. . . and even killed by it. 

KD-5s are too small. KD-802s are too big. KD-5s are too short. KD-802s give the 
boys in the caboose sea sickness. Personally, I (and my father) have too many 
cars (500+) equipped with 802s to consider changing. I double the springs and 
make sure the locos operate smoothly at slow speed, which virtually eliminates 
the problem. 

Now if you have a shelf layout with no more than two dozen cars, then I suppose 
you can go with working cut levers and try for the ultimate in scale 
appearance. But you'll need to find a way to connect and disconnect those glad 
hands if you want real bragging rights!
