Hi Ed, Despite it's claims or volume the MTH smoke system don't over-ride
gravity which is why model smoke doesn't act like real smoke. It's the same
problem we have trying to get real water to move like scale water instead of
like full size water in a pan. Most modelers learn to not try to make drops or
kick cuts of car expecting them to roll like the prototype and most modelers
learn to not expect smoke and water to act like anything but full size smoke
and water. If one misses smoke from the scene the most realistic way to deal
with it for now is string up overhead wire and run electric trains :>) As I
said if some chemical genius can figure out how to make SP oil smoke rise out
of a scale stack and stay in a realistic looking cloud I'd be very interested
it getting some but I'm not sure the task is worth the investment considering
all the other more important needs in the world :>) .........DaveBranum
