Thanks Lee, hopefully I didn't get you up too early this AM. I guess it makes sense to keep the auxiliaries in the A unit. However, another question arises---since the B unit was really the prime mover, did the B unit supply any electrical connections to power the A unit's traction motors?

Since we were talking about smoke units in diesels a few days ago, putting out some heavy black smoke from a turbine would be fine with me for a second or two!

The air compressor on the turbines was driven by the CB diesel engine. With ought the diesel engine running, there was no air for the brakes. Need I say more?
