Andy,

I talked with Matt from ESU Loksound at Trainfest in Milwaukee two weeks ago.
I have a Railmaster Alco RS-1 and an Overland Alco S-2 that I want to put into
539T sound decoders. Loksound currently has one with sound samples on their
website, but he said that he will be recording again in the next few months for
a contract with a manufacturer. The advantage of the Loksound in S scale is the
1.5 amp decoder over Tsunami's 1.0 amp. I have bought Loksound from Jeff Smith
at Railmaster and am happy with them.

Hi Don,

I haven't had a problem yet. I do have a MAXON motor for backup though. I was
using an early Soundtraxx Generic ALCO decoder but plan to put a Tsunami 1000
539T in once she's painted to get that Turbo sound.

Here is a blatant commercial announcement.

About 2 weeks ago I got shipment of "S" Scale CNR Diesel Cab unit decals from
Black Cat. They cover all the cab units for freight and passenger from
1950-1961, in other words, the green, yellow and black. They don't come with
striping but that is more easily masked. You get 5 sheets that give you two
sets of road names, all the heralds and number styles that you need. You can do
an A unit and a B unit and at $8.00 retail it's a pretty good deal.

I will put the scan in a folder called CNR Cab Decals.

If you are interested email me directly, not on the list.

cheers,

Andy Malette
