Good evening: My AF 0-8-0 rebuild to DCC with sound is going well. I will be spraying Polly S Steam Power Black in a few days. After brushed highlights in other colours, dry transfers, and decals; she will be ready for a top coat.
Normally I use Tester's Dullcote and it works well. But true American Flyer is not dull. Nor is it a gloss coat. Testers only makes these two extremes. Does anyone have any experience with an AF like shine, in a spray can, that will not damage the model, paint, or lettering? Thank you, Thorin Marty Wauwatosa, WI
