Each to his own, but for me fb is a great way to connect with the world, the
model train world in particular.

There is a terrific fb page for the Durango & Silverton RR and always makes
me homesick for Colorado.

I get my free calendar every year from BNSF just for ³liking² the page and
passing along the names of other rail fans. Same with the Union Pacific.
Figuring twelve bucks for a new calendar, that saves me $24 a year that I
can spend on S stuff :)

With cheer for the New Year :)

I'm not on facebook, either, and have no desire to be. Anybody who wants to
communicate with me can do it via this list. the same goes for texting; some
"intelligent" individuals have tested me in this regard, but I neither send
nor receive text messages. If you want to talk to me, that's why A.G. Bell
invented the telephone.
