Some of us have suggested many times that the NASG provide S scale gages to the
NMRA for resale from the NMRA store (forgot name). The advantage of this is
that S scale would be more broadly promoted to non-S members of the NMRA who
would then realize S exists. Free advertising of the S scale gage in the NMRA
Magazine would be one way of otaining free promotion.
For some strange reason, a cooperative mutually beneficial arrangement between
the NASG and the NMRA has not been worked out after many years of making this
suggestion. Don't ask me why. I have no clue.
