I received my new Vari-Pulse throttle yeaterday, and put it in service today.
Initial tests indicate it is all the manufacturer says it is, and locomotives
running with it tend to exhibit a "flywheel" effect, with slow starting and
coasting when slowing or stopping. I have to do more testing, but I have to say
my first impressions are good.
This throttle well worth consideration by DC operators, or anybody who wishes
to move up from static DCC operations
