I see a market here for some enterprising teenager to offer 802s and 808s 
assembled. Kadee prices assembled #5 couplers (aka the #3) at a 55 cents PER 
COUPLER premium. My LHS which discounts Kadees, after discounts, actually 
charges a 60 cents PER COUPLER premium -- a higher discount on the #5s than the 
#3s, and he sells equal numbers or more of the #3s.

If someone assembled 50 per hour (probably not an unreasonable number), that 
would translate to $27.50 per hour at the 55 cents per coupler rate for 
assembly.

We are more and more a RTU (Ready to Use) hobby...
