Bob,
Sorry, I didn't know Ken. When I was digging through my vehicles, I found some "Days Gone" vehicles that were marked on the bottom, made for Chevron. Some were horse drawn. GME makes several wagon kits in S. http://www.g-m-e.com/laserkit.html Dave Heine Easton, PA From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Bob Werre Sent: Monday, March 18, 2013 11:25 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: {S-Scale List} Older vehicles Dave, I don't know if you remember my good departed friend Ken Stanley whose layout I shot for MR about 10 years ago and reprinted in the latest MR calendar. For that layout he backdated to link & pin couplers (no discussions about he 808's vs the #5's with him) and also added all horse drawn vehicles--although a couple of horse drawn wagons are now made, at the time it was pretty much a Chevron/Polaris horse drawn wagon (sold as a collector piece at gas stations)--he did wonders with it. I have a couple of them on my layout as some would have still been around following WWII. Kits or major parts are OK in my case. I have a bunch or Hartoy trucks, but they are really too modern for me; the RailMaster chain drives are OK. Dave Heine, who's familiar with vaporware.
