I got a # 9123 Trailer Train model. Just substitute S helper trucks and maybe a spacer, then and go. A fellow club member uses them , but only use die cast for the lower level. Use plastic cars for the top two layers or else it gets too top heavy.
HE also uses the covered ones, but has to narrow them. He needs to photograph them and write it up for either the Dispatch or?? I just finished a 1955 Studebaker Dealership I was looking for some Perm-Bilt box car ends to build some kit bashing auto cars. I keep forgetting which Lionel car to get to convert to S. Then I though I better ask for help. What type of auto car do I need for 1955? Does any one know what RR served the Studebaker factory? I have a train show to go to next week.
