Bob,  If you ever build the Mainline stock cars, check the roof to see if a 
square piece of wood to gap the two roof sides is included. If there is, the 
car will build up way too wide. I think these kits were originally designed for 
On3 perhaps. One caveat, leaving that square piece out and just gluing the two 
tapered roof sections together yields a proper width S scale roof. This also 
means reducing the floor, ends, and cast ends sills to an S scale width.
