Bob,   I would've guessed you noticed the Mainline stockcars as being too
wide with that center roof piece. I didn't care for the fuzzy "pine" (?)
stripwood in the kits either. Even the pre-assembled sides were very fuzzy.
The two I did for Ed L were both undecorated, the only thing that came
painted was the T&P letterboard. I tried to match that color as best I
could. It does need the addition of dimensional data, car numbers, etc
      If you look closely, the unpainted car has something inside
it......cattle! They are wrapped up in plastic. Ed wanted me to glue them
in after painting but I felt they would break loose in shipping, so the
roof was left unglued and I didn't get to paint the second car anyway.
