I felt the running boards were too heavy and too high. Always hated the running
board mounting pins on boxcars, regardless of manufacture.
The Crown reefer hinges were kind of grossly overdone too. Too bad actually,
this type of reefer is a neat looking car with its wood sides and steel ends
and roof.
