Greetings. My layout has a duck under section. My experience with this 
has taught me two things. One: the duck under section should be no more
than 16-20 inches deep, and two: after you have crawled under, having the use 
of a stable/attached vertical 2 by 4, with a hand rest attached, about 18 
inches up from the floor, to push against as you get to your feet, is a 
tremendous help if you have bad knees, like I do.
I hope I have explained this clearly. Having something to push against really 
helps on the knees.
