One of my visitors was Jim Whipple, who for many years was the contest chairman
for the NASG. Way back when I was President, I tried to get volunteers to
relieve him or replace him without any success. He told me that he JUST had
gotten his replacement. Because of this dearth of people willing to judge
models for the conventions, I wouldn't be too hard on those who give up their
time to do it. They deserve our thanks.
BTW, I wonder who won the Greeley's Place contest. Peg and I had a hard time
deciding on which one to vote for.
We liked the one with the interior detail and the diorama.
