Apologies for not being clear - it's a cloud storage product (hosted in Iceland): https://www.greenqloud.com/storageqloud/ > Are you using a proxy server? No. > If not, this sounds like a bug in the server. Can you provide a traffic > dump (e.g. with wireshark) of the conversation between S3QL and the > server? (This is tricky unless you can turn off SSL). I can't connect without SSL I'm afraid; trying with the --no-ssl switch fails, so I assume that StorageQloud doesn't support it. I was led to S3QL by this article - http://people.skolelinux.org/pere/blog/S3QL__a_locally_mounted_cloud_file_system___nice_free_software.html - where the author also talks about StorageQloud. I'll try to contact him and see if he's had any problems. That at least might narrow down if it is a problem with the StorageQloud service. (I previously did try this with the Debian-provided s3ql, 1.11.1-3 in wheezy, as the author of that article presumbly did. I upgraded to 2.8.1 in the hope of solving this issue.)
