I've applied those patches to the 2.8.1 install, yesterday, and I'll post the logs if and when this happens again.
However, since the 14th both the 1.11 and 2.8.1 mounts have proved unhelpfully reliable (and are showing no issues at all with normal use, unmounting, remounting, etc.)! Unless you particularly want me to, I will hold off on raising bugs for either version. (My suspicion at the moment is that it was something transitory at StorageQloud's end, but that's obviously not very well founded). I'm sorry about this - I'm doubting my own sanity over it now...
