Hi Nikolaus, Thanks for your reply. I will keep that in mind next time I respond to the posts. If we do upgrade to the latest s3ql, how do the .bak files and the master key help with corruption ? will s3ql try all the .bak files in the object store against the passphrase stored in the authinfo2 file ? What utility helps recover the passphrase if we have master key ? I guess we are out of luck with this bucket, but want to know for future backups. Thanks, Sheetal
