Thank you very much for your feedback! I hope more people will try it
and also give their opinion so we could improve Sabily.
* We should eliminate the music at start-up, and replace it with
basmalah as before or by our slogan (the ayah 108 of Surat Yussuf), we
can take that from one of the offline recitations that we give with
the full version.
@Ahmed: could you use one of the mp3 file from versebyversequran.com?
The license is http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/2.5/ca/, is it ok?
* I remember that "Othman Mus-haf" - in the prototype given by Brother
Al-Saadi when he start working on - contains a recitation module, but
in this version there is no this module, are you sure that this is the
latest version of this program? (BTW I liked it very much, specially
the possibility of copying ayat with "arrasm al-othmani").

* Thwab is empty! I know that this is the small version but we should
put at least one book just to mention the capabilities and the utility
of this program, I propose also that this sample book should be some
kind of howto install books with url to the download page of Shamela
to let people use it in an easy manner without need to have previous
knowledge of Thwab or Shamela (remember that I speak about a
non-computer specialists).
Could you give me such a book? (or the url to download)
* I propose to configure Minbar to start automatically with the
startup, and if someone would deactivate it he can do it simply by
asking any one who know linux, I ask that because the most of users of
Sabily will need Minbar, so it is mandatory and not optional, and the
most of people (non-computer specialists) wouldn't search how to put
it as service at startup.
@Ahmed: could we do this without requiring the modification of the
minbar package? (I think I did that in the first version of ubuntume by
copying a file in the right place)
* I test this version twice, the first time Hijra doesn't start with
start up, the second it start and works very well, I don't know if
this issue is reproducible or not, if yes we should resolve it, here
we need more tests, where are other brothers and sisters???
* We should put Monajat under Islamic Software menu.
Strange, I see that Ahmed updated the package for that but it appears
only in the Education menu... (version installed: 1.1-0ubuntu2~ppa1)
By the way, shouldn't Monajat start automatically at start-up?
* Also WebStrict should be under Islamic Software menu.
WebStrict is a generic admin tool used to configure Dansguardian. I
don't think it has its place in the Islamic menu.
* (This is for the next version inshalla) in the menu "System", we
should add a sub-menu "About Sabily" exactly like "About GNOME" and
"About ubuntu", for that we should organise a redaction group. We need
this group also to be the responsible of the content in the Web site
and to animate our pages in Social networks and to respond to
interview of media (there is many blogs and website who speak about us
and some of them had contact brother Mehdi, brother Sinad, me...), I
think that having a group RESPONSIBLE of that is necessary.
Good idea, we should start another thread to talk about that.
* The directory "Examples -> example-content" is not personalised, I
have proposed a book that introduce Islam with a good manner in
English but I don't find it here, we should put other things, a group
responsible for taht also is needed. I think that we can keep this
point as the previous one to the next version inchalla, but we
should start working on them from now.
It is a little personalized, you have surat al-fatihah, zakat
spreadsheet, Sabily logo and oo-derivatives are customized. It's also a
good idea to add more specific content.
* I think that we should choose as soon as possible a code name, we
have two proposition till now: Taiba (which is one name of Al-Madina)
and Gazza. If there is no other proposition we should choose one them.
We should also fix the next name of code inshalla till now (just
after the final release of this version inshalla).
We could use Gazza for this one, and Taiba for the next release?
* The screenshot (in attachment) present an issue, in fact the logo
with the name are not centralised with the progression bar, this is
because the Arabic name and the English one haven't the same length, I
propose either to make this word with the same length, or to change
the design by putting the logo at the left and the name at the right
with the Arabic name at the top and the English one under it, what do
you think? I think that brother Amine have the response and perhaps he
has another idea more beautiful ;)
I also noticed this small issue ; akhi Amine could you rearrange the
logo and text?
