***The Arabic text*** بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم في ذكرى مرور عام على بدئ المجازر الاسرائيلية في غزة، تستعد مجموعة من الشباب المسلم من كافة أنحاء العالم من هواة ومحترفي البرمجة لإصدار نسختهم الجديدة من نظام التشغيل "سبيلي" تحت اسم "غزة"، حيث سيتم إطلاق هذه النسخة للعموم في يوم 27/12/2009 . ومما يجدر ذكره أن نظام التشغيل سبيلي هو نسخة محسنة ومخصصة من نظام التشغيل أوبنتو أحد أشهر توزيعات جنو/لينوكس تم تطويرها من قبل شباب مسلمين، يهدفون إلى وجود نظام تشغيل من انتاج الشباب المسلم يخدم توجهاتهم كما يخدم توجهات الآخرين في آن معا. تعتبر أنظمة التشغيل من نوع جنو/لينوكس أقوى أنظمة التشغيل للحاسب الإلكتروني من ناحية الحماية والثبات ويقوم عادة على تطوير برمجياته مبرمجون هواة ومحترفون، يقدمون اعمالهم طوعا إلى المجتمع، كما يتم نشر هذه الأنظمة بشكل مجاني على الانترنت. ومن مميزات نسخة سبيلي إصدارة "غزة" أنها تتضمن أحدث تعاريف الأجهزه عبر استعمال آخر نسخة مستقرة من نواة لينوكس. أما عن جهود مجموعة الشباب أصحاب هذا النظام فسيتم إدراج برامج إسلامية عديدة في هذه المرة أيضا على غرار المرات السابقة، منها ما كان قد نشر في الاصدارات السابقة وتم ادراج نسخ محدثة منه في "*غزة*" ومنها ما سيتم نشره لأول مرة في هذه الإصدارة للنظام، ومن هذه البرامج: 1- برنامج "نور" لتصفح القرآن الكريم (جديد تحت التطوير) 2- برنامج مصحف عثمان للقرآن الكريم (نسخة محدثة) 3- النسخة الأولى من برنامج منارة: وهي موسوعة للحديث الشريف (جديد تحت التطوير) 4- برنامج مكتبة ثواب: وهي مكتبة تعمل تحت منصة لينوكس يمكن بواسطتها قراءة كتب المكتبة الشاملة 5- برنامج التوقيت الهجري 6- برنامج منبر لأوقات الصلاة 7- برنامج مناجاة: وهو برنامج صغير يقوم بإظهار أدعية مختلفة على الشاشة وباللغتين العربية والانجليزية.(نسخة محدثة) 8- برنامج "واين" وهو برنامج لتشغيل برامج الويندوز في بيئة لينوكس تم تعديله ليدعم اللغة العربية. 9- خلفيات وأيقونات مخصصة لتكون ذات طابع اسلامي. وتوجد قائمة بكامل البرامج الموجوده في "سبيلي" على موقع النسخة في الانترنت المحتويات <http://www.sabily.org/website/index.php/ar/sabily/content> يذكر أن هذا النظام وقت إطلاقة سمي "أوبنتو الاسلامية" ثم تم تغيير الاسم الى "سبيلي" وكل إصدارة من سبيلي تحمل إسماً خاصاً، كانت الإصدارة الأولى تحمل إسم "طيبة" نسبةً للمدينة النبوية وهذه الإصدارة ستحمل بإذن الله إسم "غزة"، يذكر أن "سبيلي" تلاقي رواجا بين المسلمين عربا وعجما ممن يستعملون أنظمة التشغيل جنو/لينوكس حيث يمكن ان تتحول واجهة النظام الى أغلب لغات العالم. يتميز نظام التشغيل سبيلي بدعمه الكامل للغة العربية مما يسهل على المستخدم العربي تعامله معه يتوقع أن تشهد الاصدارة الجديدة من نظام التشغيل سبيلي اقبالا شديدا في يوم اطلاقها نظرا لإعلانهم أنها ستحمل اسم غزة وستصدر في ذكرى المجازر الصهيونية في غزة من العام الفائت. ويمكن تحميل هذه النسخة ومتابعة أخبارها عبر موقعها الخاص sabily<http://www.sabily.org/> ***The English translation (need verification)*** In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful On these days we remember the beginning of Israel attacks on Gaza last year, a group of Muslim youth programmers from all over the world are preparing to launch their new release of the operating system "Sabily" which is going to have the name "Gaza". Sabily is an operating system based on UBUNTU which is a well known GNU/Linux distribution, Sabily on the other hand is customized and developed by a group of Muslim programmers aiming to create a computer operating system created by Muslims to serve the needs of a Muslim and non Muslim as well. GNU/Linux operating systems is considered the most powerful operating systems when thinking about stability and safty. usually most of the work is done by volunteer programmers and they publish it on the internet to the community. these operating systems are available on the internet for free. The new release "Gaza" is special because it contains the last release of the Linux kernel, so almost every piece of your hardware will work probably without installing any drivers. The group announced that there will be many programs available for muslims, some of them were published earlier,so a new updated copy will be added to the distribution. other software will be published for the first time on this release; here is a list of some of them: 1- "Nour" which is a Quran reading program. (NEW and under development) 2- "Mus'haf Othman" which is a Quran reading program. (Updated copy) 3- "Manara" which is a Hadith encyclopedia. (NEW and under development / Arabic only for now) 4- "Thawab" a library tabulate to which user can add some e-books to, it supports search and bookmarks. 5- Hijri date calender. 6- "Minbar" a prayer timer. 7- "Monajat" which is a small program shows some Duaa from time to time on the monitor. 8- "WINE" a program that creates an environment for Windows program's to run under Linux. (Customized to support Arabic) 9- Group of icons and wallpapers customized to give an Islamic look to the system. Sabily is actualy the new name for this operating system, at the first release was named "Muslim Ubuntu" but the developers decided to change the name since the last release and from that time it took the name "Sabily". Each new release of Sabily has a special name the first had the name "Teba" which refers to the Madina (The city of the prophet PBUH), the new release will get the name "Gaza" a way to show the support for the people in Gaza strip. Many muslim GNU/Linux users choose to use this distribution over other distributions, both arabs and non arabs, for the tools it provides and as a support for the efforts spent on it. It's fair to say that Sabily is one of the best GNU/Linux distributions that supports Arabic by default. The group anounced the date December 27, 2009 for the release of the stable copy of the OS. There are expectations for a high demands on the "Gaza" from the first day.
