Ah, ok! :) What software do you use for patching (diff?), and where can I
get a copy of the very latest source code?

Also, when inserting characters above 0x7f (the pound sign for instance) an
extra character is iserted before the desired character. Is this a
sign-related bug or some kind of unicode character or something?
