Ok. We are not using boehmgc for anything in standard Sage yet (it has
been there for a while in anticipation of the clisp -> ecl switch), so
you should be able to safely ignore it for now.
In general if you want to run the test suite in Sage set the env
variable SAGE_CHECK to yes and all spkgs where we have added a check
target for their internal test suites it is automatically run. Note
that some of them fail *every* time, i.e. the one for R for example,
so I tend to not run it per default. Some of the other test suites
(MPIR, MPFR, M4RI) are activated per default at the moment since we
upgraded recently to new versions, so we are giving them some extra
testing.
