"make doc-html" gets
stuck: it looks like everything goes fine, but files aren't written to
disk and I don't get the prompt back, it just sits there. This doesn't
happen when I compile the various documentation chunks one by one, so
this is definitely a problem with parallel operations.
Is there a log file? And does it show anything suspicious?
There is logs/dochtml.log, and it shows crashes, but the log still ends
saying the build was a success, while the prompt never came back.
The crashes are another problem I need to work on -- the fact that
documentation doesn't build is as far as I know not (completely)
related: indeed, I can build it when I compile chunk by chunk by hand,
only running the 'inventory' target seems to be a problem.
I'm trying to compile a patched python debian package to see if by
chance the fact that things get stuck could be related to the same
problem as the doctest one... we'll see.
