On the other hand, don't forget that doctests serve not only as *tests* but also as *docs*. I think it's good to have some values like 14.9999999999 in the documentation to show users that such results are normal. If all doctests only show nice values like 15.0, I'm sure somebody would think that his result of 14.9999999999 is a bug.

In my opinion, doctest output should be the actual output of a Sage run somewhere and not artificially be adjusted (exceptions are for doctests which are truly just tests).
