Well, 3.0.6 is a little old to put it nicely, but I know you do not
want to update for various reasons. But given the number of fixes in
between then and now I could not put my finger on one ticket and
proclaim that merging that one will fix all your worries :)

Do you have a 3.3.alpha6 release you could verify the problem with? I
think there are enough jmol problems in the current code to warrant
someone to poke around, i.e. use the javascript setups code provided
by the jmol folks instead our code and also hunt down the problem why
gcj doesn't work.
