Well, I checked and 3.0.6 was release on 2008-07-30 - so in "Sage
years" this is ancient :)

I agree, 3.3 is an excellent reason to upgrade and depending if things
go well or not we will do a 3.3.1 bugfix only release (if it happens
in the order of maybe a handful critical patches) to make the ReST
merge in 3.4 a reality.

In that spirit I would suggest that people take the spare cycles
between 3.3.final and the release of binaries to help out with the
review of the ReST patches at the 3.4 milestone. Mike Hansen has done
a stellar job at rebasing the patches for way too long and the pain
for him must end :)
