Nope.  I wish.  There are several components of Sage that don't build at all
under 10.6.  See http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/6849/.  E.g.,
boehm gc doesn't, so ecl doesn't, so maxima doesn't.  Also, R doesn't.
There will be a lot of pain.

What does that "Abort trap" error mean in this context?    I have no idea.
I don't remember ever seeing it before on OS X, as far as I can remember.

I would like to see an *exactly* Terminal session from typing "sage" at the
command prompt until getting that error.   It could also be related to
fink/Darwin Ports, or something else.  Let's wait for way more necessary
details from the user.
