A week after I made the above spkg, I found what I think are the real problems behind graphing not working. However, as of now there is unfortunately no good fix -- nobody knows how to get graphics for Sage to robustly work on OS X 10.6. If you have XCode installed, you can try something that fixes the problem for some people (but not others!) by typing the following line in the sage-4.1.2.whatever directory: ./sage -i http://wstein.org/home/wstein/patches/matplotlib-0.99.1.p1.spkg Note that this requires XCode be installed, which comes on the OS X 10.6 DVD. Note, moreover that this might not fix your problem at all. -- William --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
