That's the approach we also take. A big advantage is that then students can share/publish worksheets and easily get worksheets from a professor, and all of the worksheets are in a central place. Another big plus is that it doesn't matter which computer a student is on---they still have all of their worksheets on the central server. Backups of all the student worksheets are also way simpler, as there is only one server to back up.
