Because people haven't done the work to make it happen. > If some C extension of Sage is not possible to port to windows, > then if there is a subset of Sage that can run as a native application on > windows? It's a very small subset, which includes obvious things. > PS: Most of my friends use windows, so sad :( and https://cloud.sagemath.com > is too slow to visit, sad again :( Are you in Asia. There's huge usage of https://cloud.sagemath.com in the US and Europe, so at least I have a strong server presence in both places (in Europe via Google Compute Engine). There's very little usage of SageMathCloud in Asia, so I haven't bothered to start any servers running there, which may be why it is slower for you. Of course, it depends a lot on what you mean by "slow". -- William > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "sage-support" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to [email protected]. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout. -- William Stein Professor of Mathematics University of Washington http://wstein.org -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-support" group.
