btw. Robert I think passing {{{object parent}}} to {{{celement_foo()}}} is
not a good choice because it assumes structure on {{{parent}}}, e.g. what
would one cast to for C attribute access? I'd say it should be a cparent
which is some sort of C struct defined in the linkage pxi files? But this
can wait until after this patch is applied (because GF2X ignores the
parent anyway).
