on the spkg: it has two (!) upstream-gap subdirectories. Does one need
them both?
I don't understand whether MPIR is used as the replacement of GMP here, or
not.
(according to spkg-install it looks as if it uses MPIR, actually).
(Last time I checked (well, long ago) GAP didn't run with MPIR; actually,
I was too busy to find out how it is now working with the new GAP spkg;
does it build its own GMP?)
