I think it would be absolutely fine to change the ''documentation'' of
`SimplicialComplex` to encourage the use of
{{{
sage: SimplicialComplex( list of facets )
}}}
instead of
{{{
sage: SimplicialComplex( vertex set, list of facets )
}}}
We could also go further and change the ''behavior'' of
`SimplicialComplex` so it ignores `vertex_set` even if it is present, thus
essentially deprecating its use. We could formally deprecate its use, in
fact.
