I had a quick look at the errors Karl Dieter reported and most of them are
the same as the ones I reported earlier.
The strangest is from "sage -t devel/sage-main/sage/tests/cmdline.py"
where there seems to be some missynchronization.
I did not have time to llok at the gfortran and cython ones yet and have
no clue whether they will be really problematic or not.
The precision problems seem indeed similar to the ones on ARM platforms,
surely a glibc bug.
The coercion issues involving overflow are new.
I'll try to give a shot at 5.9.beta0 tomorrow.
And I think its normal the cblas and lapack spkg are really built, its
just the atlas one which is not (at the moment, maybe #10508 will get
merged one day and we'll build atlas on cygwin by default in a follow up
ticket).
