Really??? Actually I already wondered about Volker's comment about spkg-
check.orig. Anyway, I just posted a version that should be garbage free.

You mean: Defining `MAKE` temporarily as `make`? How should it be done to
temporarily disallow `make -jN` with `N>1`?

(probably it came from another spkg...)
