What's most annoying to me is that the whole documentation gets rebuilt
(upon `sage --docbuild reference html`) when I switch back to the original
branch (which is supposed to be left untouched).
(I can't believe that's always been the case, at least I don't recall
having ever experienced that, but perhaps I simply never tried.)
It seems `python setup.py install` somehow doesn't play well with
Sphinx...
