The problem with the Maxima interface mixing up variable domains is #6862.
This could be fixed with #8734 by changing the Maxima conversion (in the
libmaxima interface) to work directly off the pynac expression tree
(instead of going through strings / parsers) and set the corresponding
flag in the temporary variables it creates. I'm not sure if anybody has
time to implement this though.
