I have attached the two patches 'primesieve-sage-root.patch' and
'primesieve-sage-main.patch' to this ticket, the corresponding spkg
package can be downloaded from
https://primesieve.googlecode.com/files/primesieve-4.4.spkg. These patches
integrate primesieve-4.4 into sage-5.12.beta4. The patches include a
Cython wrapper around the ParallelPrimeSieve C++ API (by default single-
threaded due to #12690) and improvements to the prime_range() and
primes_first_n() functions. These patches were written by Andrew Ohana and
myself.
