Having the default be False is fine and is now changed.
I do have the two optional parameters as positional that is why it is
positional in the doctest. It sounds like you think this should be
`**kwds` instead of positional. I could change it and don't have a strong
opinion either way, but have not done so at this point.
Yes, getting the reduced form would be nice and I'll add it to the
dynamics todo list on the wiki.
